The Magnolia, one of the oldest trees on the planet with bracts that appear before the leaves in late March and April. This tree has suffered with two dry cold springs so that the bracts have dropped almost before they have a chance to open.
Size: 65cm x 44cm.
Painted on mulberry paper using black Sumi ink and Japanese mineral colours. It is float mounted and framed in natural ash.
The Chop mark beneath the signature means Painting Brings Peace.
